Here’s the exact steps to create blank name folder using Numpad keyboard.

  1. Create a new folder on your desktop or any location.
  2. Right-click on that folder and choose Rename.
  3. When the name field of the folder is highlighted, just delete it by pressing Delete key.
  4. Press and hold the Alt key, while holding the Alt key, type the numbers 2 + 5 + 5 from the Numpad keyboard.
  5. Release all the keys and hit ↵Enter key.
  6. The folder should now appear blank name after pressing Enter key.

Alternative Way to Create Blank Name Folder in Windows

Here’s another way to create blank name folder in Windows using blank character. This method can be useful especially if you are using Laptop, since Laptop keyboards often do not have a Numpad keyboard.

  1. Open the Run dialog box by pressing (Windows key) + R and type “charmap” (without the quotes) and then click OK button. This will open Character Map window.
  2. When the Character Map window opened, find the blank character among the entries of the table and click on it.
  3. Click the Select button at the bottom, then click on Copy.
  4. After that, create a new folder on your desktop or any location and Right-click on it, and then click on Rename.
  5. When the name field of the folder is highlighted, just delete it by pressing Delete key on your keyboard.
  6. Press Ctrl + V keys simultaneously to paste the copied character.
  7. Release the keys and hit ↵Enter key and you will see that your folder is now blank name after pressing Enter key.
