- Open WhatsApp and select the conversation whom you wish to send the original quality photo.
- As usual tap on the attachment (paperclip) icon, and instead of selecting Gallery, select Document option.
- Now, tap on Browse other docs... and a file browser should open for you. Simply locate the photo from your Gallery that you want to send in original quality.
- You’ll now be prompted to send the photo to the specific contact, simply tap on SEND button to confirm, and the photo should be sent as a document.
- That’s it. Instead of sending it as a photo, we’re sending it as a document, in order to prevent WhatsApp from compressing it.
