  1. Open WhatsApp and select the conversation whom you wish to send the original quality photo.

  2. As usual tap on the attachment (paperclip) icon, and instead of selecting Gallery, select Document option.

  3. Now, tap on Browse other docs... and a file browser should open for you. Simply locate the photo from your Gallery that you want to send in original quality.

  4. You’ll now be prompted to send the photo to the specific contact, simply tap on SEND button to confirm, and the photo should be sent as a document.

  5. That’s it. Instead of sending it as a photo, we’re sending it as a document, in order to prevent WhatsApp from compressing it.
